I fell in love… his name is New York and Mr. Self Portrait. If you don’t know about this London contemporary brand yet, let me tell you about the mastermind behind it. Designer Han Chong was formerly the creative director of the luxe label, Three Floor. Three Floor was one of my absolute favorite brands from London so of course after hearing Chong decided to create his own line, I was all in. Alexander McQueen is a huge inspiration in his art. Bridging the gap between high end and high street, Chong’s designs are focused on detail and feel. It is feminine and modern yet there are also androgynous pieces, cleaner lines, leather and lace. I am infatuated with details and textures and he doesn’t disappoint for the price point considering you see his designs worn by celebs on the red carpet constantly. Like nothing else in the industry, Self-Portrait’s signature looks are elegant and made for the fearless and confident modern woman, like YOU!
I’m wearing the IT skirt of the season. I love the peek-a-boo blue lace under the beautifully crafted military green skirt. It’s urban and flirty, two styles that look great combined. I paired it with a simple black ruffle top as the skirt stands out already. I mixed gold-and-silver-toned jewels to compliment the hardware on my classic Chloe Faye bag. This crossbody was worth the investment and is timeless with it’s spacious interior and multiple pockets for the OCD in me. The Motty Grey color is neutral and can be worn with everything in your closet. Thanks for reading babes. Off I go to explore the concrete jungle I love so much. Have a fabulous day!
xx, Lizz
