Dancing In The Rain

Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain, especially at Central Park. In this moment, I felt happier than I had at any moment in the past few months, as I was waiting for the storm to pass. My curls came undone and I probably had makeup dripping down my face but I was so excited to be back in NYC that it didn’t matter. We continued to shoot this beautiful silk dress that surprisingly didn’t get ruined by the rain, went home to freshened up, had dinner at ABC Cocina, and then danced the night away. It was liberating to just be in the moment and letting my worries melt away.

As you get older it feels like time just slips right past you. One minute it’s February and the next it’s almost October. Everyday life is filled with deadlines, expectations, check lizts, and it’s hard not to stress. The past few weeks I feel like I’ve been running 100mph. My days are mixed up and I’m not sure if I completed everything I was supposed to do for the day. It’s absolute bonkers, but I have to remind myself every day that everything is going to be ok. I’m grateful and lucky to be doing what I love. It’s not life or death so enjoy the moment, every drop, every pain, as it will soon pass. Thanks for reading babes. I hope you had a fun filled weekend!

xx, Lizz
